A portrait story in two expressions.
It began simply through a conversation between friends who share the same passion.
We wanted to create something aesthetic and genuine — a reflection of a part of who he is.
The first session was all about calmness and focus — minimalistic, elegant, and expressive through simplicity. Soft light, subtle shadows, neutral tones. Nothing unnecessary, nothing loud. Just simplicity — where a glance, a gesture and a soft light defining the scene.
The second session took us to a different rhythm — the graffiti walls of Mainz Castle. Every year, new layers of art transform the walls into a vibrant, living canvas, and there we found the perfect stage for Yannick’s other side — dynamic, confident, full of energy. His hip-hop moves, the black-and-white outfit contrasting with bursts of color — it was movement meeting stillness, form meeting freedom.
Two sessions, two moods — and somewhere between them, the portrait of a person who holds both quiet confidence and vibrant energy within him.
